The CFR Junior Board
CFR’s Junior Board is a volunteer council of young professionals that promotes and advocates on
behalf of CFR and its Board of Directors through fundraising and volunteer initiatives, attracting
new friends to the organization, and providing relevant professional support.
Members have the opportunity to build leadership skills while learning about child welfare
legal issues and challenges facing non-profit family service organizations in New York City.
The group is continually evolving as members encourage friends and colleagues to take part
in meetings, activities and events.
Current Junior Board projects include a summer backpack collection for children returning to
school, an annual holiday party for CFR’s clients, and organizing CFR’s Jeans for Families fundraiser.
