Karen's Story
Finding a Place to Call Home
Karen was the victim of domestic and sexual violence and was forced live in homeless shelters. While facing a difficult pregnancy and attempting to fulfill numerous services mandated by the City, she was further punished by having her child taken away from her. Her CFR team advocated for her along her journey so that she could eventually bring both of her children back home for good.
